Britney Spears and Matthew Perry Hit the Town


Pop princess Britney Spears and former “Friend” Matthew Perry were out on the town Thursday night.

But are the rumors true that the pair could be more than just friends?

Sources at the Smashbox Cosmetics party told “Extra” the two are just pals.

But curiously, also at the party was hip-hop producer JR Rotem, who has been lined to Brit in several publications.

'Babel,' 'Departed' Lead Golden Globe Nominees

Our A.J. Calloway celebrated with breakout "Dreamgirl" star Jennifer Hudson Thursday morning, moments after her dream year got even better.

"I don't even know what to tell you; I'm just over the top right now," Hudson admitted.

A Golden Morning for the Cast of 'Grey's'


Just moments after the 46th Annual Golden Globe nominees were announced, “Extra” was on the set with the golden cast of “Grey’s Anatomy.”

“I’m really just trying to take it in and enjoy the moment,” Patrick “McDreamy” Dempsey admitted.

Dempsey also told our Jon Kelley that he nearly needed some emergency care after forgetting to tell his wife it was Golden Globe morning.

“Sorry honey,” Dempsey said. “Once we worked through that crisis, everything was great.”

Inside Britney's Security Scare


The Britney Spears party train derailed Wednesday night when a security scare in Los Angeles put a temporary damper on the evening’s festivities.

With bodyguards by her side, the pop princess and her girlfriend were swarmed by paparazzi after attending a burlesque show in Hollywood, when a terrifying encounter with a fan unfolded.

A young man busted open the car door and then struck a pose as a startled Britney looked on in horror at this brazen security breach before quickly lunging forward to slam the door shut.

Jennifer Hudson Gets Revenge


She was an “American Idol” and a “Dreamgirl.” Now, Jennifer Hudson is officially a Hollywood golden girl.

Jen first got a taste of the limelight as a finalist on “Idol,” but she never dreamed she’d be up for a Golden Globe.

“It still hasn’t sunk in that I got the part in the movie,” Hudson admitted.

“Extra” has been with Jennifer since the beginning of her Hollywood dream. From our first interview with the fresh-faced girl from Chicago, we knew she was going places… even if Judge Simon Cowell wasn’t her biggest fan.

A 'Desperate' House-Husband?


“Extra” spoke to “Desperate Housewives” creator and executive producer Marc Cherry, who dished that just in time for Valentine’s Day, the hit ABC show will air an episode in which the story will be told from a male’s point of view.

Marcia Cross’ character’s dead husband, Rex (played by actor Steven Culp), will voice the story and every detail of Wisteria Lane will be played out through his eyes.

Angie on Brad: 'He's Just A Great Partner'


Fans are getting a much better view into the private life of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. The actress, currently co-starring in “The Good Shepherd,” opened up to Diane Sawyer about life at home with Brad and the kids.

“He’s just a really great partner, a great man,” Jolie said of Pitt.

Angelina also addressed all the rumors that she and Brad are expecting another baby.

“Oh yeah, I probably shouldn’t have been drinking wine then last night,” Jolie joked. “No, we’re not. I’m on the pill.”

'Raymond' Stars Mourn the Loss of Peter Boyle


For nine seasons, Peter Boyle made us laugh as the loveable, grumpy Frank Barone on the hit TV show, “Everybody Loves Raymond.”

But on Wednesday, Hollywood mourned the loss of their beloved friend.

Boyle passed away in New York Tuesday night at age 71 after a long battle with heart disease and Myeloma, a rare form of cancer.

“I went through a difficult time in my life that Peter was very helpful in,” “Raymond” co-star Brad Garrett recalled. “Everybody’s going to miss him.”

Farrah Fawcett: Recovering in High Spirits


Farrah Fawcett is all smiles these days, and she gave a curious cameraman a thumbs up in her very first interview since she beginning her brave battle against cancer.

Farrah’s successful road to recovery is the good news the world has been waiting to hear, as the “Charlie’s Angel” admitted she’s “really good.”

In all-new video of Farrah and devoted companion Ryan O’Neal, the couple shared some tender moments as Ryan gently stroked her back while they shopped in Beverly Hills.

Farrah and Ryan were even spotted inside a posh jewelry store in the ritzy LA suburb on Tuesday, and store owner Alan Friedman told us that the lovable actress voiced her interest in a diamond studded cross, a bracelet and even rings.

Brangelina to Wed on Christmas Day?


The world will get a rare glimpse into the ultra-private life of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, as People magazine unveils a brand new family photo album of the couple’s growing flock.

Baby Shiloh, now 6 months old, graces the pages in the arms of big brother Maddox, 5, showing off her rosy cheeks and dad’s baby blues, while 23-month-old Zahara looks on.

This is just one of many shots for the magazine’s new issue, “Best of 2006,” which also includes a loving shot of Brad giving Maddox a piggy-back ride.

On newsstands Dec. 15, the snapshots are from the family’s recent goodwill mission to Cambodia.

“Dancing with the Stars” heartthrob Mario Lopez opened up to “Extra” about his gal pal and dance partner Karina Smirnoff’s recent lip-lock with another man.

We broke the news that the sexy dancer and Mario’s rumored girlfriend was caught smooching a mystery man last week in Hollywood, and now the former teen star is telling “Extra” how he feels about the pucker.

“I’ve been in the business a long time, and I don’t let things affect me,” Mario confessed. “I take things with a grain of salt.”
