Shann is demonstrating his skills on Gina, who went from cute to captivating with his magical hands.

Even though rollers and backcombing is involved, Shann told “Extra” that the new up-dos should not look done.

“It’s just very pieced up, we’ve just kind of tucked hair in there,” he demonstrated. “Which is kind of more about today’s trend in today’s up-dos I think.”

Fire Destroys Home of 'Lost' Star

The Kailua home of "Lost" actress Evangeline Lilly erupted in flames Wednesday morning.

Five fire trucks responded to the call just before 7 a.m., where the house the actress rents along with two other women was engulfed by a blaze of red.

There was nobody home at the time, as Evangeline was filming at a Waialua Beach with fellow cast mates.

It's unclear how much damage was done, but we do know the firefighter's response time was delayed by bars on the outside of the house's windows, which they had to cut before entering.

The cast of "Lost" is scheduled to break for the Christmas holiday on Thursday.

Former Miss USA Reacts to Trump's 'Second Chance'

Miss USA 1995, “Dancing with the Stars” darling Shanna Moakler, came to “Extra” to share her reaction to the current pageant scandal.

“I think about pageants what people don’t really understand is that these girls come from small towns,” Moakler pointed out. “She’s [Miss USA 2006 Tara Conner] in Trump Tower, she’s moved to New York, she’s getting makeovers, shopping sprees. She starts attending events with lots of different celebrities; she probably started to feel invincible.”

Moakler also believes this controversy will make Conner a memorable Miss USA.

“No one knows who won Miss USA four years ago, but they are going to remember who almost got dethroned for excessive partying,” Moakler said.

Britney Gets Inked (With a Tattoo)

Pop princess Britney Spears treated herself to an early Christmas present this year -- a new tattoo.

“Extra” spotted Brit, who was accompanied by her little sister Jamie Lynn, as she entered a Studio City tattoo parlor.

Inside, the superstar had a small star inked on her right hand.

Speculators say the new tat is to celebrate Brit’s newfound freedom in the wake of her split from Kevin Federline.

Tongues are still wagging about a Sharon Stone, Christian Slater hook-up, as the two continue to be spotted arm in arm at several Hollywood events.

Christmas bells turned to wedding bells this week for actress Lara Flynn Boyle, who caught everyone off guard by marrying beau businessman Donald Ray Thomas on Monday.

Only “Extra” has all the exclusive details about their “I do’s.”

We spoke to Lara Wednesday morning, and she told us that even though they’ve been dating only six months, they’ve known each other for years.

Lara and Donald tied the knot in the backyard of the groom’s house in San Antonio, Texas, and they then celebrated at a nearby hotel with Dos Equis beer in hand.

Star Jones: 'Yes, I Was a Diva'

Just six months after she stunned Barbara Walters by jumping the gun on her departure from the morning gab-fest, “The View,” Star Jones confessed to “Extra” that she was a diva -- and now she’s trying to change her attention-grabbing ways.

“If I confess the truth, I’ve earned that diva image,” Star admitted to our A.J. Calloway. “I admit sometimes I have enjoyed the celebrity more than I should have.”

Reflecting on her rocky and headline grabbing year, in which Star lost the job she loved for more than nine years, Jones revealed that she has regrets and has finally realized life is not all about her.

While she’ll admit she was wrong, don’t take advantage of her apology.

Christmas Comes Early for Miss USA

Beauty queen Tara Conner traded bikinis for a business suit Tuesday, as she broke down in tears at a press conference in New York.

“I’ve had a very big blessing bestowed upon me,” Conner said, promising to fulfill her role as a role model to others.

Trump refused to tell Tara, “You’re Fired,” explaining, “Tara is going to be given a second chance.”

Tara’s tiara days had been rumored to be numbered, after accusations surfaced of underage drinking and a report she failed a cocaine test.

You may not recognize her face, but talented actress and playwright Oni Faida Lampley has a story that is sure to deeply inspire people around the world.

'Yogi Bear,' 'Flinstones' Creator Dies at 95

Joe Barbera, half of the Hanna Barbera animating team that created such classic cartoon characters as Yogi Bear, the Flintstones, Scooby-Doo and Tom & Jerry, died Monday. He was 95.

Barbera died of natural causes at this home with wife Sheila by his side. He died just five years after his close friend, William Hanna, passed away.

The pair first teamed up at MGM in the 1930s, and their success became evident as they accumulated seven Academy Awards for their work.

Mills Mulls around McCartney

“Extra” is breaking more news about Heather Mills McCartney, after first reporting the former Beatle bride is the target of death threats.

The threats are so serious that police have installed a police panic button in her home, and Heather has asked her ex, Sir Paul, to beef up security -- if not for her, at least for their daughter Beatrice.

But on Tuesday, we learned that Sir Paul will not offer his protection.
