Jaime Pressly Has a Tryst

Here's what we're recovering from last weekend. "My Name is Earl" star Jaime Pressly partied it up with "Extra" not one… not two... but three nights last week. First, the extremely sexy star showed off her new fashion line at Pure Nightclub at Caesar's Palace. Next, Jamie gave "Extra" a tour of her sweet suite: the Erotic Suite at the Palms Resort and Casino. Her neighbors at the Palms last weekend included members of the Super Bowl Champion Pittsburgh Steelers. Jaime joined the Steel Curtain for a little bowling in the Palms' Kingpin Suite. (Yes, the Palms' Kingpin Suite has two bowling lanes.) Then it was off to Charlie Palmer's Steakhouse at the Four Seasons where Ms. Pressly enjoyed some 5-star cuisine. To cap the evening off, Jaime took "Extra" back up The Strip to the fabulous Wynn Hotel to party at Tryst Nightclub.

A little backstory for you... Every Vegas nightclub has a unique characteristic that separates it from the rest of the pack. Pure at Caesar's has the huge outdoor party deck (my personal favorite), Tao at the Venetian has the big Buda, Mix at Mandalay Bay has an amazing view of The Strip from 60-stories up. Well, Tryst has one of the coolest characteristics of all: there's a 94-foot waterfall right in the middle of the club!! I mean, how can you not have a great time with a 94-foot waterfall cooling you out all night?

Saturday night, things got physical at Mandalay Bay, as a packed house cheered "Sugar" Shane Mosley on to victory over Fernando Vargas in the 10th round TKO during the Junior Middleweight Main Event.

Sunday night, "Extra" journeyed to Light Nightclub at the Bellagio to interview supermodel Caprice from "The Surreal Life." She was launching her own lingerie line, and all the cocktail servers at Light were wearing her mega-hot bedroom attire. As if Light needed any more beautiful people walking around!

This weekend, the biggest rock n' roll band in the world, The Rolling Stones, perform at the MGM Grand's Garden Arena on Saturday night. Also on Saturday, over at Mandalay Bay, Styx goes "Mr. Roboto" on all in attendance. And one of the great post-punk bands of the '80s, The Cult, rocks The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino on Friday night.

Wanna laugh? Jay Leno brings his comedy to the Mirage Friday and Saturday night.

If you're more into sports, the best tennis players in the world are battling it out this weekend in Sin City at the Tennis Channel Open. What? Not rough enough for you? Okay, how about The Ultimate Fighting Championship at Mandalay Bay on Saturday night? That's what I thought.

And in the next few weeks, Extra will "Runaway" to Vegas with Bon Jovi. We've also got the most popular sport in America right now, NASCAR Racing, speeding things up in the desert next weekend. And don't forget, the biggest movie stars on the planet will be here in March for ShoWest. Everything is happening in Las Vegas, and "Extra" is all over Las Vegas!! See you next week!!

Hello,
Please read,…
I am emailing because I was watching Extra tonight and saw that, again, celebs are doing a gala for African kids on American Idol this time. Why,…Why arent our poor kids, black,WHITE and HISPANIC too, ever included in the events created for those they call needy. Our little American kids in orphanages,in shelters, and living on the streets are every bit as without creature comforts as those in foreign countries. Please,I am praying you might help by bringing these American poor,of ALL colours into the light. Please, perhaps you might consider creating a show for or about America’s poor. If I had millions,I would let the rich of this own country know that they are needed here by using my money as funding to make people listen. I see the poor nearly every day,all around me,and there are so many kids among them.
Thank you for your consideration,
Sandra L. Kleinschmit

I listen to Carlos EVERY morning on 98.7 “Orlando and the freak show” andn watch Extra every evening! I would appreciate if this could be forwarded for consideration on this heartless and very serious situation. Airing information regarding dog and cat fur in China was very effective. Please read the below information the bottom of the page regarding Canadian seafood and seal clubbings. THANK YOU!

Hello,

I train law enforcement at South St. Pete College and have worked for Bright house and in the past have been involved with our local Bradenton station BN9 when they needed help. I’m in the television field and I know how effective and powerful television can be!!

A great and worthwhile story for the public would an issue going on at this very moment in Canada concerning the seal clubbings. MOST American’s have NO idea where they’re seafood comes from, and how it all begins. Problem is, these hunts have no relation to seafood in general, its simply a fur trade in their off season. So many Canadian’s are appalled and ashamed of their country and confirm this is a trade isn’t essential for their livelihood. You will find hundreds of testimonies of this on the Humane Society website that lists all restaurants and businesses boycotting Canadian seafood. Local establishments importing from Canada, will tell you that the locations of imports have nothing to do with the actual acts. Canada seafood is what it is. If enough pressure is put on them by American’s this can end. The European trade has banned the fur trade which is a start. If the public is made aware and see’s first hand the brutality of clubbing these animals and skinning them alive, Americans would be willing to pay an extra .50 a pound for seafood imported from Cape Cod or anywhere within the US who bans this kind of brutal and unnecessary treatment, if that’s what it takes. We were successful with tuna to save thousands of dolphins so it is possible with education and awareness, what better tool, the news. Also, let’s not exclude the dog and cat fur in China, being skinned alive yearly. This story as you know hit the air and created such an outcry because citizens had no idea. It’s essential both issues need to be addresses to help educate Americans who are not aware and a who care.

Please view the below link, and feel free to visit the Humane Society of the US’s website.

Thank you so much for you’re consideration.

Live from the Ice:
Rebecca’s Journal

Hunt Continues Without Mercy>>

April 8, 2007 - 7:13 p.m.

This morning we awoke to howling winds and freezing rain. Our pilots confirmed our worst fears — we would not be able to fly for the entire day due to bad weather.

What we saw yesterday was so devastating; to know it continues today, without witnesses, is heartbreaking.

Yesterday brought home to us all how horrible this hunt really is. So many of the pups being targeted were almost entirely covered with white fur, meaning they were just a couple of weeks old. Yet the hunters were shooting and clubbing them to death without mercy.

My blood runs cold as I watch these animals so new to this world die for nothing but fashion. The seal pups are so young, and it is crystal clear they do not want to die. The seals try desperately to crawl away as the hunters run toward them. But the pups are utterly helpless, and there is simply no escape from these men who are so much larger and faster.

As the sealers raise their clubs, the pups turn and make a pathetic stand, rearing their small heads back and crying. But the clubs smash down each and every time. Yesterday, more often than not, those clubs struck the pups in their face or jaw, instead of their skulls, only intensifying the cruelty. Without missing a beat, the sealers stabbed the pups with metal hooks and dragged them, still struggling, across the ice floes. Read more >>
